Product Description
Non-amine antistat masterbatch of migratory nature containing effective substance in LDPE, LLDPE carrier resin. It gives a long term antistatic effect and depends on water for functioning. Hence the antistatic performance is always better at higher humidity as well as usually improves with conditioning time. It requires a very long time to diffuse out of HDPE or PP homopolymer. It tends to react with polycarbonate, which is commonly used in making electronic circuit boards. Hence a plastic packaging containing amine antistat is detrimental to electronic circuit boards . It can be used for packaging of electronics, explosives and medical packaging applications. It is recommended in the core and skin layer of multilayer films. It can be used for LDPE and LLDPE blown films as well as LDPE cast films at maximum 500°F. It is FDA approved for food contact application upto less than 10%. It is available in pink and blue version.
