Anti Static ESD POM Pellets Used For ESD Gears
Sugo ESD Plastics' Anti Static ESD POM Pellets is made by Polyoxymethylene Resin and permanent anti
static additives.
It is usually used for ESD POM Gears, for some clients, they are very confused about value of surface resistivity is different measured by different measure devices.
Let me explain it as below:
1. first of all, there are 3 different kinds of measure devices
A. AVO Meter or Multi Meter
B. Surface Resistance Meter
C. Heavy Hammer Surface Resistance Tester
2. AVO Meter or Multi Meter can only be used for testing those surface resistivity below 10E5 ohm,
it is not sensitive enough for the value above 10E5 ohms;
3. Surface Resistance Meter is suitable for those ones with surface resistivity from 10 ohms to 10E11
ohms, which is more sensitive than the first one, but the value is always higher than the actual S/R
of the tested items;
4. The most professional, most sensitive and most accurate instrument is the third one----Heavy Hammer
Surface Resistance Tester, Almost all authoritative third-party testing institutions use this instrument
for testing, and show the test results on the authoritative testing report issued by them.
So, you can test the S/R with the third one if you are confused on the test results, you can send
the samples to SUGO ESD Plastics for free testing, or you can send to any third party inspection
institute for testing and pay some cost.
