This Antistatic Masterbatch is based on stearate and amine bases chemicals. It is mainly used in films and mouldings made of PE and PP. It gives lubricating effect during moulding or extrusion contributing to a smooth, shiny surface on the product produced. It is also used as an antistatic agent to reduce the electrical resistance on the surface of films and moulded products. It also gives uniform cell size distribution in expanded polyethene (EPE) foams.

Antistatic Masterbatch is recommended for films application due to its excellent transparency and outstanding Antistatic properties even at lower relative humidity, reducing dust contamination and enhances glossiness of end product.

• Surface Resistance:30-50Ω, it can be adjusted from 10E3-10E9 ohm/sq according to customer's requirement.
• Conductive PS masterbatch is suitable for injection grade and/or extrusion grade, with excellent electrical conductive rate and flexibility.

The water lowers the surface resistivity from the approximate value of 1014 - 1015 ohms for most polymers (including styrenics and polyolefinics) to 1011- 108 ohms.
