Plastic Antistatic Masterbatch Flame Retardant
Product Description
Antistatic Masterbatch works by migrating to the surface of the polymer. It functions usually in a molecular or multi-molecular layer and attracts water molecules from the atmosphere. The water lowers the surface resistivity from the approximate value of 10^14 - 10^15 ohm for most polymers (including styrenics and polyolefinics) to 10^11- 10^8 ohm . Normal addition levels of the 10% active content masterbatch is 3-5%.
The masterbatches have specialized grades for different materials and processing technologies and could adapt to different materials including PP, PE, PS, ABS, PC and PET, etc.
During procedure of production, storage and delivery, Antistatic MB can effectively reduce
gathering of statics to lower surface electric resistance
Meanwhile after adding antistatic MB, the appearance of product will change to more smooth and brighter
The content of antistatic agent will immigrate from inner layer of film to film surface steadily,so the best effect to cancel the damage from statics will be after 4-10days when using our antistatic MB.
